Prayagraj,(thestates.news)| Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, is expected to meet Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Mohan Bhagwat on Thursday in Prayagraj, a day after the Akhil Bhartiya Karyakari Mandal (ABKM), a four-day national executive meeting of the RSS at the Vatsalya Institute grounds in Gauhania.
According to RSS office bearers, the chief minister would arrive in Bamrauli around 12 noon on Thursday and go to the institute, which is around 25 kilometres from the Sangam’ city in the trans-Yamuna area. Prayagraj district magistrate Sanjay Kumar Khatri confirmed the visit plans. Adityanath had met with Bhagwat at the same location for the two-day ABKM meeting on November 22, 2020. Prior to that, the two met during the 2019 Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj. The 2019 meeting between the two was held amid growing pressure from seers and Hindu organisations to build the Ram temple in Ayodhya.(HS)
