SDG 2.0 expands monitoring framework to 343 state and 99 district-level indicators
Raipur (thestates.news) | Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai on Wednesday unveiled the Chhattisgarh Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 2.0 Framework prepared by the State NITI Aayog, at Mahanadi Bhawan, in the presence of members of the Council of Ministers. He also launched the State and District SDG Indicator Framework 2.0, the Metadata Handbook, and the ‘Bastar Anjor’ initiative aimed at convergence-based, inclusive and outcome-oriented development of the Bastar division.
Shri Sai said effective implementation of government schemes, accurate data and outcome-based monitoring are essential for building a Viksit Chhattisgarh, adding that the SDG 2.0 framework would strengthen evidence-based policymaking, inter-departmental coordination and regular monitoring of development programmes. He said the initiative would support the state’s Viksit Chhattisgarh @2047 vision by making governance more transparent, measurable and accountable.
