Raipur (thestates.news)|Chhattisgarh Government’s Suraaji Gaon Yojana is creating a wide array of opportunities for economic empowerment in rural areas of the state. Members of Women Self-Help Groups in Vrindavan Gauthan of village Anjora, Rajnandgaon district have also turned their dream of economic empowerment and self-reliance through this scheme. Now, with the transformation of Vrindavan Gauthan into a rural industrial park spread over 26 acres of land, the efforts of women self-help groups have further gained momentum. A livelihood work shed has been constructed for women there. Efforts like these have made the women of the village financially independent. They are now confidently supporting their families from the profits earned from production of chhattisgarhi dishes, puja items, mushrooms etc.
