Rampur, (thestates.news) : SP leader Azam Khan has landed in trouble once more after making derogatory remarks against women during a public rally. A woman from Rampur’s Mohalla Akhun Khelan has lodged a complaint at Ganj police station, stating that Khan during a public meeting said, “What has happened to you and us today, if I had done this in four governments, before the child was born from the mother’s womb, he would have asked, ask Azam Khan whether he is out of the womb.”
He is already facing three years sentence in connection with a hate speech case. On October 27, 2022 the court sentenced him to three years of imprisonment for making provocative comments. Significantly, 93 cases against Khan are pending in the courts.(HS)
