Women in large numbers visited the Chief Minister’s residence to celebrate the Teeja-Pora festival

Raipur (thestates.news) | Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel participated in the program organized on the occasion of Teeja Pora Tihar and the state-level women’s conference at his residence today. A large number of women visited the Chief Minister’s residence to celebrate this traditional festival of Chhattisgarh with great enthusiasm. The women felt delighted at being showered with love and affection reminiscent of their “Mayka” (mother’s house). Chief Minister Mr. Baghel, while interacting with the women on this occasion, said that Teeja-Pora is an important traditional festival of Chhattisgarh that symbolises the happiness of mothers and sisters.
   
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, along with his wife Mrs. Mukteshwari Baghel and his family members, participated in the program. The Food and Culture Minister Mr. Amarjeet Bhagat and the Chairman of the State Mineral Development Corporation Mr. Girish Dewangan were also present on this occasion.
While mentioning the schemes run by the state government in Chhattisgarh under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Baghel in the interest of women, the beneficiaries Sarita Sahu, Jyoti Mithlesh, Shanti Chandra, Rekha Sahu, Jayanti, and Urvashi Verma, etc., shared their experiences. They also expressed their gratitude towards the Chief Minister.
