Raipur (thestates.news) | The “Bull”- Finance Club managed by Kalinga University’s Faculty of Commerce & Management, provides students with a forum to explore finance-related topics,
network with industry professionals, and learn practical skills through workshops, competitions, and guest lectures. It aims to foster a strong community of finance enthusiasts willing to advance their knowledge and career prospects in the field.
The Finance Club – Bull, successfully organized a workshop on “Job Ready for BFSI” in association with Arth Nirmiti. The session was attended by enthusiastic students from many departments, as well as club members and university faculty.
Their combined efforts made the program both instructive and enjoyable. Mr. Sajad Ahmad, an expert from Arth Nirmiti, was the event’s keynote speaker, providing significant insights into the skills and competences required to thrive in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) industry. Mr. Sajad Ahmad addressed the increased demand for BFSI experts, as well as the importance of being up to date on business developments and innovations. He emphasized that
financial analysis, risk management, digital literacy, and customer relationship management are critical for success. The discussion also highlighted emergent topics such as fintech, data analytics, and regulatory compliance, which are transforming the landscape of the BFSI industry.
Participants had the opportunity to participate in an interactive Q&A session, during which Mr. Ahmad answered their questions and provided practical advice on career advancement in BFSI. A networking session at the end of the event helped participants network with peers and business leaders, which improved their learning experience even more.
The “Job Ready for BFSI” workshop highlights the Finance Club – Bull’s commitment to raising awareness about the BFSI sector and providing participants with the tools they need to conduct sound investment planning, portfolio management, and prepare for jobs in the sector.
The event was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Deepti Patnaik, HoD (In-charge), Faculty of Commerce & Management, Kalinga University and effectively coordinated by Mr. Tushar Ranjan Barik and Mr. Rakshak Bharti, Assistant Professors & Faculty Coordinators of Finance Club- Bull.

Buoyed by the success of this workshop, the Finance Club of Kalinga University plans to organize more such events in the future, focusing on different aspects of financial literacy further to enrich the academic and professional journeys of the participants.
