Raipur (The States. news) The Covid-19 vaccination drive is going on at a rapid pace in Chhattisgarh. One crore 68 lakh 69 thousand 073 citizens of the state have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19. 82 per cent adult population and 43 per cent of children in 15 to 18 years age group have received both doses of Covid-19 vaccine. Precaution doses have also been administered to 03 lakh 78 thousand 611 health workers, frontline workers, and people above 60 years of age.
Besides, first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine has been administered to 100 per cent of the population above 18 years and 67 per cent of children in 15 to 18 years age group. one crore 97 lakh 57 thousand 492 citizens above 18 years and 11 lakh 05 thousand 719 children in 15 to 18 years age group have received the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine. Besides, 07 lakh 07 thousand 663 children in the age group of 15 to 18 years have been administered both doses of the vaccine. A total of 03 crore 81 lakh 10 thousand 895 doses of Covid-19 vaccine have been administered so far across the state (till March 3rd) in both age groups, including first and second and precautionary doses.
