Average rainfall of 486.9 mm recorded in Chhattisgarh so far

Raipur ( |According to the information compiled by the State Level Control Room set up by the State Government’s Revenue and Disaster Management Department, an average rainfall of 486.9 mm was recorded in the state since June 1, 2023. Based on the rainfall recorded in various districts of the state from June 1, 2023, until today, July 31, the highest average rainfall of 1011.5 mm was recorded in Bijapur district and the lowest of 178.8 mm in Surguja district.

According to the information received from the state-level flood control room, since June 1, an average rainfall of 337.3 mm was recorded in Surajpur district, 326.1 mm in Balrampur, 336.8 mm in Jashpur, 438.3 mm in Koriya, and 419.1 mm in Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur.

Similarly, an average rainfall of 589.0 mm in Raipur district, 437.9 mm in Balodabazar, 500.2 mm in Gariaband, 482.1 mm in Mahasamund, 564.1 mm in Dhamtari, 455.5 mm in Bilaspur, 572.1 mm in Mungeli, 469.5 mm in Raigarh, 391.8 mm in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh, 335.5 mm in Janjgir-Champa, 354.8 mm in Sakti, 430.8 mm in Korba, 383.8 mm in Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, and 422.9 mm in Durg was recorded.

Average rainfall of 371.6 mm in Kabirdham district, 634.4 mm in Rajnandgaon, 699.6 mm in Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki, 521.5 mm in Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai, 628.4 mm in Balod, 363.8 mm in Bemetara, 564.1 mm in Bastar, 407.0 mm in Kondagaon, 492.1 mm in Kanker, 448.4 mm in Narayanpur, 672.9 mm in Dantewada, and 825.8 mm in Sukma was recorded since June 1.
