Basant Panchami and Saraswati Puja celebrated at Kalinga University

Raipur, (the states. news) Basant Panchami and Saraswati Puja was celebrated at Kalinga University. The celebration was marked by the presence of Vice-Chancellor- Dr. R. Shridhar, Director General- Dr. Byju John, Registrar- Dr. Sandeep Gandhi, Dean Student Welfare- Dr. Asha Ambhaikar, In-charge Academic Affairs, Heads of the Department and Faculty members of the University.

Dr. Sandeep Gandhi, Registrar of the university wished that the arrival of spring brings happiness and prosperity in the lives of everyone. The festival marks the arrival of spring season and is celebrated with great fervor across the country. He wished that Goddess Sarasvati bless everyone with knowledge, wisdom, happiness and prosperity.

Dr. R. Shridhar, Vice Chancellor of the University extended best wishes to all on the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami and Saraswati Puja. Dr. Shridhar said that this festival is a symbol of new zeal and new energy. He wished that Goddess Saraswati may provide knowledge, prosperity and good health to all. In his greeting, Dr. Shridhar wished that this holy festival may bring joy, knowledge and good health in the lives of people.

Dr. Byju John, Director General of the University enlightened on the concept and significance of Saraswati puja on the occasion of Basant Panchami. Dr. John said that worshipping Goddess.

Saraswati on this occasion symbolizes constant flow of the unseen river of wisdom and representsthe full blossoming of all the hues of nature to keep the light of inspiration kindled forever. Dr. John wished that everyone receive the purest form of knowledge.
