New Delhi, (thestates.news): The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Sunday denied filing a ‘Lookout Circular’ against 14 people, including Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, who are involved in the liquor scam. It is noteworthy that in connection with this scam, the CBI had raided Sisodia’s residence and other places on August 19. After this, Manish Sisodia had expressed the possibility of his arrest by holding a press conference on Saturday. He had said that the central government wants to put a brake on the big work done in the field of education in Delhi, that is why I may be arrested in 2-4 days.
Manish Sisodia’s tweet in this regard on Sunday morning created a stir in the political circles. He said in the tweet- ‘All your raids have spread. Nothing found. Didn’t find any misappropriation of money. Now you have issued a look out notice that Mr. Sisodia is not available. What is this gimmick Modi ji?, I am roaming freely in Delhi. Tell me where to come You can’t find me?’ After this tweet, the Bharatiya Janata Party gave a sharp reaction. BJP leader Kapil Mishra said, Is the education minister of Delhi so illiterate and stupid that he does not understand the meaning of the lookout notice? Lookout notice means that if you try to run out of the country now you will be stopped. Two criminals of your liquor scam have fled abroad.
BJP MP Parvesh Verma told Manish Sisodia not to mislead the public. Lookout notice means that you do not run away from the country like your partner in crime Vijay Nair. This is not a prank. This investigation is about those crores of rupees which you and Kejriwal have looted from the public. BJP national spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia said in a press conference held at the party headquarters that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is the main pillar of the excise policy ‘scam’. He questioned the Kejriwal government that if the excise policy was correct, why was it withdrawn.
Bhatia said that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is saying that the 2024 election will be Modi vs Kejriwal, but we all know what happened in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Goa. Kejriwal has done corruption prima facie. This is worrisome. Excise Policy Scam roots go to the door of corrupt Kejriwal, no one is above the law and no corrupt person will be spared. Bhatia said that as the knots of corruption are unraveling, handcuffs are getting closer to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. BJP spokesperson said that AAP has government in two states including Delhi and Punjab. The health ministers of both the states are in jail on corruption charges. The people of the country are saying that if anyone is the biggest corrupt then it is Manish Sisodia and Aam Aadmi Party. Today the people of India are saying that ‘AAP’ is ‘Paap’ (sin), it is the father of the corrupt and it is a curse for the people.
BJP Delhi State President Adesh Gupta targetted the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for the change in the policy on the issue of corruption in the last seven years. He said that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is the ‘Kingpin’ of the excise policy scam. He said that for the first time in independent India, it has been seen that he is the Education Minister and he is the Liquor Minister. There is no new excise policy of the Kejriwal government. This is a sinful, corrupt and a cruel policy. (HS)
