Women Self-Help Groups felicitated for their excellent works
Raipur (The States. news) Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has said that we are building ‘Nava Chhattisgarh’ by providing fair value of produce to farmers, employment to the youth, empowering women, honouring the indigenous culture and uplifting the tribal people. On the occasion of 150th anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the visionary of ‘Gram Swaraj’, Suraji Gaon Yojana was launched in Chhattisgarh to strengthen the rural economy. Chhattisgarh Government has taken several steps towards the economic empowerment of people, which includes loan waiver of farmers, procurement of crops at fair prices, procurement of forest produce and establishment of processing units for value addition. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel expressed his views in the context while addressing ‘Speakout Chhattisgarh-2021’ event organized by ‘Outlook Group’ in Raipur today. Mr. Baghel honoured the women self-help groups in the programme for their excellent work.
