Raipur (the states. news) Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel today inaugurated and laid foundation of development works worth more than Rs 1083 crore at the Kisaan Sammelan organized at High School Ground of Janjgir. This includes 419 works worth Rs 292.10 crore and bhumipujan of 836 works worth Rs 820.93 crore. Mr. Baghel distributed goods and cheques of financial aid to 1051 beneficiaries under various schemes of Agriculture, Horticulture, Fishery, Labour, Livestock Development and Social Welfare Departments.
On this occasion, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Dr. Charan Das Mahant, Minister of Panchayat and Rural Development Mr. TS Singhdeo, MP Mrs. Jyotsna Mahant, MLAs Mr. Ram Kumar Yadav, Mrs. Indu Banjare and Mr. Keshav Chandra, President of District Panchayat Janjgir-Champa Mrs. Yanita Chandra Ravishekhar Bhardwaj, former MLA Mr. Motilal Devagan, Collector Mr. Yashwant Kumar, SP Mrs. Parul Mathur, and distinguished citizens including Mrs. Ravi Pandey, Mr. Choleshwar Chandrakar, Ms. Manju Singh were present.
AT the programme, Chief Minister inaugurated 18 works of RES worth Rs 13.855 crore, one work of Tribal Development Department worth Rs 1.62 crore, 26 works of Chief Minister Rural Road Scheme worth Rs 12.431 crore, 02 works of School Education Department worth Rs 2.9 crore, works worth Rs 27 lakh under Ayurveda Department, four works of Housing Board worth Rs 5.15 crore, 24 works worth Rs 200 crore under PWD, 8 works of Health Department worth Rs 3.26 crore, 334 works of Panchayat and Rural Development Department worth Rs 22.51 crore.
Works for which Chief Minister performed bhumipujan today include 228 worth of Panchayat and Rural Development Department worth Rs 31 crore 49 lakh, 68 works of PWD worth Rs 514.15 crores, 04 works of Water Resource Department worth Rs 19.235 crore, 132 works of CREDA worth Rs 7.125 crore, 370 works worth Rs 139.420 crore under PHE Department, 16 works of PMGSY worth Rs 89.045 crore and 03 works of RES Division worth Rs 3.710 crore.
