Raipur (thestates.news)| Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel today visited the historic Madheshwar Mahadev Temple located near Mayali Nature Park of Kunkuri development block in Jashpur district. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel performed Lord Mahadev aarti in the temple and wished the happiness and prosperity of the people of the region, the state, and the country.
Mr. Baghel observed the cave while visiting the temple complex situated at the foothills of Madheshwar mountain. He also took information regarding the history of temple construction. During this, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel was heartily welcomed by the villagers who performed manas singing and dancing in the temple premises. On this occasion, Parliamentary Secretary and MLA Kunkuri Mr. U.D. Minz was also present.
Assembly Speaker Dr. Charandas Mahant, Public Health Family Welfare Minister Mr. T.S. Singhdev and Home and Public Works Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu also offered prayers at the temple.
