Requests him to manage time for the meeting at the request of the Chhattisgarh OBC Mahasabha and Backward Classes Welfare Association

Raipur (thestates.news) |Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has written a letter to Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan, requesting that he manage time for the meeting at the request of the Chhattisgarh OBC Mahasabha and the Chhattisgarh Backward Classes Welfare Association. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has mentioned in the letter that during the OBC Mahasammelan organized in Raipur on August 27, 2023, he was told by the Chhattisgarh OBC Mahasabha and Chhattisgarh Backward Classes Welfare Association that they want to meet the Governor regarding their pending demands. Accordingly, he requested the Governor allot time to the delegation of Chhattisgarh OBC Mahasabha and Chhattisgarh Backward Classes Welfare Association and consider their demands sympathetically.

It is worth mentioning that the Chhattisgarh OBC Mahasabha and the Chhattisgarh Backward Classes Welfare Association met the Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Sunday and placed their demand in the context of providing benefits to the OBC category in the public welfare schemes of the government. The Sangh had prominently placed the demand to implement a 27 percent OBC reservation at the earliest. On this occasion, the Sangh had also requested Chief Minister Baghel to request time from Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan regarding various pending demands. Therefore, the Chief Minister has written a letter to the Governor in this regard.
