Raipur (the states. news) Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel today during his Raigarh visit, inaugurated a new Urban Gothan constructed by the Municipal Corporation at Sambalpuri, adjoining the district headquarters. He inspected the availability of fodder and safety arrangements for cattle in Gothan. Chief Minister inquired about various products being made from cow dung by women self-help groups in Gothan. He learned about and praised the method of making gou-cast by cow dung. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel fed Gaumata and the calf with his own hands and took blessings. On this occasion, Agriculture Minister and District In-charge Minister Mr. Ravindra Choubey, Higher Education Minister Mr. Umesh Patel including Dharamjaygarh MLA Mr. Laljit Singh Rathia, Lailunga MLA Mr. Chakradhar Singh Sidar, Raigarh MLA Mr. Prakash Naik, Sarangarh MLA Mrs. Uttari Jangade, District Panchayat Chairman Mr. Nirakar Patel were present along with public representatives, farmers and cattle rearers.

         Chief Minister Mr. Baghel also visited the Mandaps decorated by women groups in the Gothan campus. He held discussion with the women present and on their request, instructed the collector to provide other means of livelihood in Gothan. Built at a cost of about 45 lakh rupees, this Gothan has a good system for preservation of cattle, including arrangements for fodder, water, shed and treatment of cattle. The total area of ​​Gothan is 19 acres. Of this, Napier grass has been planted in two acres for fodder. For its security, strong fencing has been done in an area of ​​1600 meters. About 550 cattle have been kept in Gothan. Dung is also being purchased in Gothan, from which vermi compost fertilizer will be prepared. (media
