Announcement made to give voluntary holiday on Navakhai festival on the request of the society

Raipur (thestates.news) |The Chief Minister has announced a voluntary holiday on Navakhai festival on the request of the Sarva Oriya Samaj. The Chief Minister has extended greetings and best wishes to everyone on the occasion of Nava Khai festival. It is noteworthy that a delegation of Sarva Odia Samaj met Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel at his residence office and requested the Chief Minister to grant leave on the Navakhai festival. on this request,An order has also been issued by the Chhattisgarh government to provide a voluntary holiday in the state on the upcoming Navakhai festival on September 1.

During the meeting, the delegation invited the Chief Minister to participate in the fair program organized on the day of Ramchandi Divas at Ramchandi Mata Temple at Garhphuljhar in Mahasamund district. They told the Chief Minister that on the 8th of October, a fair program would be organized on the occasion of Ramchandi Day. Every year a large number of people participate in this event. The delegation of Sarva Oriya Samaj included representatives of other societies including Kolta Samaj, Brahmin Samaj, Agharia Samaj, Samvara Samaj, Marar Samaj, Teli Samaj, Rawat Samaj, Kumbhakar Samaj, Binjhwar Samaj, Kewat Samaj, Bhulia Samaj.
