He emphasized that the teachings of Sant Kabir’s life are always relevant. Sant Kabir conveyed the messages of love, harmony, and social equality through his couplets. He opposed prevailing superstitions and caste-based discrimination in society. Through his couplets, he also strongly criticized social evils and inspired people to embrace humane values including truth, non-violence, compassion, and altruism. The life philosophy of Sant Kabir has had a profound impact on the lives of people in Chhattisgarh as well. Shri Baghel expressed his belief that the teachings of Sant Kabir will continue to guide us on the path of truth.
