Distributed tiffins to children
Raipur (thestates.news) | Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel launched Mukhyamantri Swalpahaar Yojana (Chief Minister Breakfast Scheme) today in Chhindgarh of Sukma district. The scheme will be implemented in 681 primary schools of Sukma district.
On the occasion, Chief Minister distributed tiffins to the school children. Under this scheme, school students of class 1st to 5th will be given snacks as per the prescribed menus five days a week. For example, poha will be served on Monday, porridge on Tuesday, chana fry on Wednesday, moong dal on Thursday and veg pulao on Friday. About 17 thousand children of Sukma district will benefit from this scheme. An additional incentive amount of Rs 800 will be provided to the school cooks for implementing this scheme in schools.
