Raipur (thestates.news) |Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel is virtually inaugurating various development projects and participating in foundation-laying ceremony at Gandhi Stadium Ground in Ambikapur through video conferencing from his residence office today. Deputy Chief Minister T.S. Singh Deo, Urban Administration Minister Dr. Shiv Kumar Dahariya, and other public representatives joined from the Chief Minister’s residence  while Culture Minister Amarjeet Bhagat joined from the program venue on this occasion.

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated the construction works of Rajmata Devendra Kumari Singh Government Medical College building and Mata Rajmohini Devi Memorial Hospital worth Rs. 374 crore 8 lakh. They mainly include the construction of a college building worth Rs 54.26 crore, a hospital building and auditorium worth Rs 120.73 crore, and other works including the building of a hostel, staff quarters, and the Dean’s residence.

The Chief Minister said while addressing the program that today is quite a significant day for the residents of Surguja in terms of achievements. It is a very pleasant occasion for me that I’m inaugurating the Rajmata Srimati Devendra Kumari Government Medical College today. The total cost of the medical college building, hospital, and residential complex is Rs. 374 crore.
