CREDA Stall Provides Information on ‘Pradhan Mantri-Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana
Raipur (thestates.news) | Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai inaugurated the exhibition organized at Chhattisgarh Climate Change Conclave 2024 today. After the inauguration, Chief Minister visited the stalls put up by various departments at the exhibition. Chief Minister carefully perused the models, herbs, equipment and herbal products displayed at the stalls. Forest and Environment Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap accompanied the Chief Minister during the visit.
Members of Darpan Society Jashpur welcomed Chief Minister at the stall with a bouquet of Sarai flowers. Mr. Lochan Yadav of Darpan Society told Shri Sai that his team works for conservation of forests and forest produce. Darpan Society provides information and training to the villagers on conservation and processing of forest produce so that they may get fair price for their products.
At the stall of Chhattisgarh State Renewable Energy Development Agency (CREDA), a unit of indoor solar cooking system was installed. Officials told Chief Minister that the system has thermal batteries installed to store solar energy, which can be later used to cook food even at night or when there is no electricity available. Information about ‘Pradhan Mantri-Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana’ is also being provided at the stall.
