Raipur (thestates.news) | Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has expressed deep condolences over the sad demise of country’s renowned archaeologist Padmashree Dr Arun Kumar Sharma. Empathizing with the grief-stricken family of Dr. Sharma, Shri Sai has prayed for the peace of the departed soul.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said in his condolence message that Dr. Arun Kumar Sharma is a gem of Chhattisgarh, who made significant contribution to the archaeological survey and excavation in not only Chhattisgarh but at various sites across the country. He played a pivotal role in the excavations done in Sirpur and Rajim areas of Chhattisgarh. The contribution of Dr. Arun Sharma ji in the field of archeology will always be remembered.
