Raipur (thestates.news) | CM Vishnu Deo Sai greeted the people of Chhattisgarh on the occasion of Navratri. In his message, Chief Minister Shri Sai prayed to Goddess Durga for the happiness, prosperity, and well-being of all residents of the state. He stated that Navratri celebrates the nine divine forms of Goddess Durga, each symbolising unique virtues and blessings. The Chief Minister also spoke of the tradition of worshipping young girls (Kanya Puja), who are revered as the pure embodiment of the Goddess.
Shri Sai emphasised that Navratri is not only a time for spiritual devotion but also a celebration of women’s strength and empowerment. He stated that the Chhattisgarh Government is making every effort to ensure women’s safety, protect their dignity, and provide essential services for their well-being. He further stated that true devotion to the Goddess is reflected in the respect and honour extended to women. He urged everyone to stand firm against violence and uphold women’s dignity in society.
