CM Vishnu Deo Sai offers prayers to Lord Jagannath’s Chariot Wheel

Auspicious Chariot arrival at Pahuna adds to Chief Minister’s birthday festivities

Raipur (thestates.news) | Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai offered prayers to the chariot wheel of Lord Jagannath and Balbhadra ji at the State Guest House Pahuna this morning. He wished for the happiness and prosperity of the people of state. The chariot wheel of Lord Jagannath and Balabhadra Ji is being carried in Nandighosh Rath, traversing different wards of Raipur city.

It is worth mentioning that the renowned Jagannath Puri temple is situated in Odisha, where the annual Rath Yatra begins on the second day of Shukla Paksha in the month of Ashadha (June-July) and lasts for nine days. For the past 12 days, the chariot wheel has been touring various wards of Raipur City, providing an opportunity for the common people to have its Darshan.

This morning, coinciding with the birthday of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, the auspicious arrival of the chariot, accompanied by musical instruments, occurred at the State Guest House Pahuna. This created an atmosphere of religious fervour and enthusiasm throughout the Pahuna premises.

Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap, Former Minister and MLA Shri Amar Agrawal, and MLA Shri Purandar Mishra were among the many devotees present on this occasion.
