Raipur,(thestates.news)| Delegation led by Anurag Jain of Vanvasi Vikas Samiti met Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uikey at Raj Bhavan today. The Governor was invited by the delegation members for a workshop on the contribution of tribal heroes in the freedom movement. Governor Ms. Uike appreciated this initiative of the National Commission for Scheduled Tribes under the Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi. The Governor said that through the seminar the students and youth would get information about the tribal heroes who played an important role in the freedom movement. Along with this, the students will be introduced to the personality and creativity of such tribal heroes of the country and the state, who are not mentioned anywhere.
It is noteworthy that under the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, this initiative by the National Commission for Scheduled Tribes will prove to be important to introduce such fighters to the present generation, such tribal heroes who have contributed in the freedom movement. This workshop will be organized in 9 higher educational institutions of the state and various activities will also be organized under it.
