Gram Sabha meeting will be held in all Gram Panchayats on April 14

Raipur (thestates.news) | Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Bhure has directed the district sub-divisional authorities, revenue, and the chief executive officer of the district panchayat to convene the gram sabha on April 14. It should be mentioned that Section-6 of the Chhattisgarh Panchayat Raj Act, 1993, calls for at least one Gram Sabha meeting every three months. Follow-up report on the implementation of Gram Sabha resolutions, review, and approval of the Panchayats’ income and expenditure for the last quarter, names of works approved from various schemes in the last half-year, amount received, approved amount, expenditure reading of the updated status of amount and work, demand for employment by rural families, and status of employment made available in Gram Panchayats of districts.

However, discussion regarding the management and operation of gauthans in village and the progress of works related to Narva, Garuva, Ghuruva, and Bari under Suraji Gram Yojana, social audit of pension schemes operated under samajik Sahayata Karikram  and verification of beneficiaries. Proceedings, distribution of food grains by panchayats to needy persons, and reading of the names of its beneficiaries, pending, resolved, and distributed certificates of cases related to birth, death, and marriage registration will be given.
