Washington,(Thestates.news) | Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is preparing to answer tough questions about his criminal cases and stance on abortion during the upcoming debate with Democratic challenger Kamala Harris, ABC News reported on Monday.
Trump’s advisers may have publicly insisted that the former president does not need any debate prep, but he is preparing more than he is letting on, ABC News reported citing sources.
Republican Representative Matt Gaetz has been firing questions at Trump on some of the most challenging issues, including federal indictments on election interference and retaining classified documents and his conviction in the hush-money case. Another adviser helping Trump to prepare for the Tuesday debate is former Democratic Representative Tulsi Gabbard.
Donald Trump and Kamal Harris will face off on ABC News at 9 pm ET on September 10 (01:00 GMT on September 11). Both candidates will have about two minutes to answer the moderator’s questions, two minutes to respond to their opponent’s critical remarks, and one more minute to give clarifications. Microphones will be live only for the candidate whose turn it is to speak.
