Effective implementation of Schemes on ground-level should be ensured at all cost: Chief Minister Mr. Baghel

Chief Minister gave instructions in the review meeting held in Gunderdehi, Balod

Raipur (thestates.news)| In his address to the review meeting held under Bhent-Mulaqat programme in Gunderdehi area of Balod district today, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel encouraged the officers to skillfully perform their duties with the noble intention of public welfare. Effective implementation of government schemes on ground-level should be ensured and positive results of the same should be evidently visible, directed Chief Minister. On the occasion, Parliamentary Secretary Kunwar Singh Nishad, Secretary to Chief Minister Ankit Anand, division and district-level officers were also present.

At the meeting, Chief Minister inaugurated and laid foundation of development works of total worth Rs 190 crore. This included bhoomipujan of works worth Rs 122 crore and inauguration of development works worth Rs 68 crores.
Chief Minister said that state government is allocating land to social welfare organizations at the 10% value of the rates fixed by the Collector, and the officers concerned should promote this scheme of the government as much as possible. Social welfare organizations can get their demand for building approved only after they are allotted a piece of land. Chief Minister directed all the officers present to cooperate with the eligible beneficiaries in the implementation of the schemes. All the officers should reside in the headquarters only for the convenience of common people. Chief Minister expressed dissatisfaction on the inadequate improvement in the quality of education, and directed the officials concerned to regularly inspect the schools and colleges and ensure better education facilities for the students.
Chief Minister asked the officials of Electricity Department to take prompt action on complaints related to electricity supply and resolve them at the earliest. Officers were directed to send the proposal regarding uninterrupted power supply to the senior office. To the officers of Police and Excise Department, Chief Minister gave instructions to keep a constant vigil on illegal transportation, collection and sale of liquor. In case of any violations, immediate action should be taken.
