Raipur (thestates.news) |The birth anniversary of Jindal Founder Chairman Shri O.P. Jindal was
celebrated at Mandir Hasaud Machinery Division. Shri O.P. Jindal, fondly and respectfully
called Bauji, was a visionary. The biography of Shri O.P. Jindal refreshes the memory of his
vision and dreams for the nation, which made an unprecedented contribution to nation
building. Bauji, through his Karmayoga, inspired countless individuals to collectively
contribute to nation building. The center point of his vision was a strong and self-reliant
India, which stands in the queue of developed industrial nations with full pride and self-
respect.
Bauji’s visionary ideals and principles are a constant source of inspiration for JSP, which
encourage us not only to build the nation but also to empower the communities.
Bauji was a natural born engineer. He established a pipe mill named Jindal India based on
indigenous technology, which is now known as Jindal Industries. In 1970, he established
Jindal Strips Limited and focused on research from the very beginning. Bauji’s original
thinking, his passion for bringing about change and above all his efforts to make India self-
reliant made him world famous as a person who could talk to machines. He may have been
born in Haryana, but the whole of India was his karmabhoomi.
Despite being the founder of a huge industrial group like O P Jindal Group and a leading
politician, Bauji never kept the door of his office closed. His doors were open 24 hours a day
for everyone, be it common or special. Bauji presented a new definition of public service by
entering politics. He struggled throughout his life for the education, health and prosperity of
the people.
He was the MLA of Hisar thrice. With his hard work and commitment, he established a huge
industrial group like OP Jindal Group and played an important role in the building of the
nation.
By bringing alive his principles and thoughts, his 94th birth anniversary was celebrated in the
Machinery Division located at Mandir Hasaud where the program was started with Bhajan
Kirtan in the morning. Remembering Bauji, floral tributes were paid to the statue of Bauji by
the factory employees in the Heritage Park located at Machinery Division. Also, on this
occasion, cancer awareness and health camp and tree plantation were organized and food,
fruits and clothes were distributed in the old age home located at Mana. On this occasion,
employees including officers of Machinery Division were present and all paid homage to
Bauji.
