Health Department conducts an intensive campaign to make Bastar district ‘Cataract-Free’

Raipur(thestates.news): Dr R.K. Chaturvedi, Chief Medical and Health Officer stated that the special campaign has been implemented in Bastar district with the aim of making the district cataract-free. As part of the campaign, a door-to-door campaign is being conducted to identify patients. Doctors from the Medical College Hospital and Maharani Hospital have been assigned the responsibility of ensuring timely operations for the identified patients. As part of this campaign, surgeries have been performed for 99 patients in Bakawand, 32 in Bastanar, 37 in Lohandiguda, 71 in Darbha, 63 in Tokapal, and 123 in Jagdalpur (Nangur). In the Bastar development block, operations have been completed for all the identified patients thus far.
