Raipur (thestates.news)|The industrial policy of Chhattisgarh government is promoting capital investment in the state. New industries are coming up due to conducive environment for the establishment of industries. With the establishment of new industries, the possibilities of direct and indirect employment are also increasing in the state. Under the Ease of Doing Business, the Chhattisgarh government has simplified the rules related to the establishment of industries in the new industrial policy 2021-2024. In which a single window system has been implemented to simplify the process of getting clearance for the establishment of industries.
A Provision has been created for the establishment of industries by the entrepreneurs of scheduled caste,scheduled Tribes and women of the state. Under this, for the establishment of industry with a capital investment of 5 Crore,a grant of 25 percent with the maximum limit of 50 lakh Rs has been decided. For OBC entrepreneurs ,.10 percent land reservation has been decided in the state, whereas in the earlier industrial policy there was no provision for Other Backward Classes (OBC). Land allotment by the government has also been reduced by 30 percent and land rent by 33 percent. Online facility has also been provided for many such services. Several steps have been taken, including allotment of land for industries and practical provision for freeholding of land, which is creating an industry friendly envireonment in the state.
