Internet facilities expanding under ‘Digital India’

New Delhi,(thestates.news)| Prime Minister Narendra Modi in ‘Mann Ki Baat’ on Sunday mentioned the expansion of internet facilities in the country under ‘Digital India’. He said that till now facilities like internet were available only in big cities but now this facility is reaching villages also, through the mission. Due to this new digital entrepreneurs are being born in the country, he added. Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the 92nd episode of his monthly radio program Mann Ki Baat on Sunday cited the example of 4G internet services launched on Independence Day at Jorsing village in Arunachal Pradesh’s Siang district. He said that the way electricity was available in the village earlier, the same happiness is being provided with the arrival of 4G internet service.

He mentioned the efforts of digital entrepreneurs and talked about the tailor-made online e-store of Setha Singh Rawat of Ajmer district of Rajasthan. He mentioned about establishing more than 1,000 broadband connections in the village of Om Prakash Singh, who lives in Unnao, UP. He told that the work of Om Prakash has increased so much that he has hired more than 20 people.(HS).
