Maharashtra Governor attends Annual Day and Prize Distribution of Villa Theresa School

Mumbai (Thestates.news)|Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais presided over the Annual Day and Prize Distribution function of the Villa Theresa High School at the School’s premises in Mumbai on Friday (18 Aug). 

Complimenting the School for its dedicated service to the cause of empowerment of women through education, the Governor called upon parents and teachers to encourage children to learn their mother tongue and the national language while learning English and other foreign languages.

Villa Theresa High School has completed 91 years of its establishment, while the Convent and Hostel of the institution is celebrating its Centenary this year.

Chairperson of Maharashtra State Commission for Protection of Child Right Susi Shah, Principal of Villa Theresa Sister Babitha Abraham, Sister Sanjita Kujur, Administrative Superintendent Lima Rose, parents and children were present.
