Maharashtra Governor releases Gajanan Shepal’s book ‘Ranga Sabha

Mumbai (Thestates.news)| Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais released the book ‘Rang Sabha’ authored by Prof Ganajan Shepal at Sir J J School of Applied Art in Mumbai on Sat (19 Aug). 
Speaking on the occasion, the Governor said he will put his best efforts to establish the Sub Centre of Lalit Kala Academy in Maharashtra. The Governor said the Creative and Culture Industry is among the fastest growing industries in the world having immense potential for job creation. In this connection, he called for efforts to strengthen art institutions in the State. 
Former Chairman of Lalit Kala Academy Dr Uttam Pacharne, author Dr Gajanan Shepal, President of Marathi Vruttapatra Lekhak Sangh Mumbai Ravindra Malusare, senior journalist Vivek Sabnis and invitees were present. 
The book ‘Rang Sabha’ is a compilation of the published articles of Dr Shepal, covering the life and work of 100 visual artists and art institutions.
