Raipur (thestates.news) | MATS university with Collection and District Election Commission organised an awareness campaign for the students of the university. The program was attended by Chancellor sir, Shri Gajraj Pagariyaji, Vice-chancellor sir, Prof. Dr. KP Yadav, Pro-Vice Chancellor madam, Dr. Deepika Dhand, Director General sir, Shri Priyesh Pagariyaji, Registrar sir, Shri Gokulananda Panda. Cultural committee head Mrs. Parvinder Kaur was the coordinator for the event and the event was conducted by Secretary Ms. Darshika Choudhary.
From the District Election Commission, Mr. Harikishan Joshi (Additional Charge Chief Executive Officer, District Panchayat), Dr. Kamini Bawankar (District Project Officer) and Mr. Chunnilal Sharma (Assistant District Project Officer). Mr.
Harikishan Joshi sir made the students understand the importance of vote and informed them about the last dates of voter ID card. Sir also made them pledge for voting. Dr. Kamini Bawankar madam informed students about the process of voting and also the process of form filling for the ID card. Madam also informed about SVEEP and it’s function. Mr. Chunnilal Sharma sir not only encouraged but also put the boost of enthusiasm in the students with regard to voting and voting system. Sir wrapped and had an interactive session with the students. The students of various departments made posters about awareness of voting.The students were not only appreciated but also encouraged. The students enjoyed the session and also pledged to be serious and dedicated about the nation.
