Raipur (thestates.news) | Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department has given instructions to supply kerosene under Public Distribution System (PDS) to the beneficiaries with ration cards and gas connections in non-scheduled areas. It is worth noting that out of the kerosene allocation received from the Union Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, New Delhi, for the first quarter of the year 2023, 1,944 kiloliters of kerosene has been allotted under Chhattisgarh Food and Nutritional Security Act for ration cards and hawkers at fair price shop-wise for the month of May 2023. This includes allotment of 1895.05 kiloliters of kerosene for PDS and 48.95 kiloliters for hawkers. Department of Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection has issued a letter to this effect to all the Collectors and state-level coordinators of the oil industry.
