Raipur (thestates.news) | Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai gave a major development push to Birgaon Municipal Corporation on September 23, inaugurating and laying foundation stones for development works worth more than Rs 135 crore and announcing new works worth around Rs 110 crore to strengthen the drinking water system, roads, drainage, sports, education, lighting and other civic infrastructure.
Addressing the programme, Chief Minister Shri Sai said Birgaon is a rapidly developing urban area where growing population and industrial activity require systematic expansion of civic infrastructure. He said the State Government is working towards building modern cities with better amenities as part of its resolve for a developed Chhattisgarh.
