Raipur (thestates.news) |Today all the officers and employees of Raj Bhavan took oath to establish peace, harmony and unity on the occasion of Sadbhavna Divas. Shri Amrit Kumar Khalkho, Secretary to the Governor, administered the oath. Legal Advisor Mr. Rajesh Srivastava, Deputy Secretary Mr. Deepak Aggarwal, Controller Mr. Sanjay Vishwakarma and other officers and employees took oath on the occasion.
It is noteworthy that the birthday of former Prime Minister Late Shri Rajiv Gandhi is celebrated as Sadbhavana Diwas on August 20. On this occasion, an oath was taken to work for the emotional unity and goodwill of all Indians without discrimination of caste, creed, region, religion or language. The officers and employees took an oath to abstain from any kind of violence and resolve differences through peaceful and constitutional means.
