Over 1.58 lakh women got free medical care under Mukhymantri Dai-Didi Clinic 

Raipur (thestates.news)| Mukhyamantri Dai-Didi Clinic initiative provided free medical care to over 1.58 lakh women living in slum areas of Raipur, Bilaspur, and Bhilai municipalities. Additionally, the initiative held about 2102 camps to provide treatment to these women and girls through mobile clinics.

It is worth mentioning that this Scheme is being run by the Urban Administration and Development Department of Chhattisgarh Government. Under it, Free-of-cost treatment facilities for various diseases are provided to needy women and adolescent girls through well-equipped mobile medical units with an all-women staff.

Lab tests of about 30,888 women have been conducted and free-of-cost medicines have been distributed to over 1,49,869 women through these dedicated mobile medical units. The scheme has been proven beneficial for the women indulged in labour work who can’t visit hospitals due to time and money constraints.
