Prime Minister is in favour of peace for global economic development: Governor Mr. Biswabhushan

Inauguration of International Seminar at Mats University

Raipur (thestates.news)| Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan delivered his address as the chief guest at the Chhattisgarh Research Conclave 2023 organised by Mats University.  The theme of the conference was “Global Financial and Economic Changes: Impact on Development”. Governor Mr. Harichandan said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is having an opinion that establishing peace in the world should be the first priority to bring change in the global economy.  He said that Prime Minister Shri Modi has appealed to adopt the path of peace to end the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine.He stated that war only results in devastation. This is the biggest crime against humanity. The economy is negatively impacted by war. This weakens both the global social system and its financial system. The people are affected by it, and the general public is forced to endure economic hardship. Because of this, no issue can be resolved at the expense of war. It should be resolved through communication. Two world wars and their aftereffects have been witnessed by the world. The rest of the world ought to learn from them.

He stated that, after the United States, China, Japan, and Germany, India has the fifth-largest economy in the world. The goal of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to grow India’s economy to 5 trillion dollar is now beginning to materialise.The banking system has been connected to thousands of underprivileged areas in India, and millions of young people have received Mudra loans totaling more than 20 lakh crores without bank guarantees. Numerous young people now have jobs thanks to the prime minister’s plan to promote local cottage industries and products. On this occasion, Governor Shri Harichandan released a souvenir.  On behalf of Mats University, the Governor was honoured with a book, shawl and memento.  Researchers and educationists from different states shared their views on the subject in the seminar.

On this occasion, special guest Lubha Mukherjee, Chancellor of Mats University Gajraj Pagaria, Vice Chancellor K.P. Yadav, educationists, researchers and students were present.
