Raipur (The States. news) Sahitya Akademi, Chhattisgarh Sanskriti Parishad, in collaboration with Chhattisgarh Archeology and Culture Department, is organizing a two-day lecture and discussion on the topic “Democracy and Literature” this Saturday and Sunday. In this programme to be organized in the hall of Mayaram Surjan Smriti Lokayan located at Rajbandha Maidan, Raipur, there will be a story recitation on March 12 at 5.30 pm and a discussion on the topic “Literature, Dissent and the Future of Democracy” will be held on March 13 at 11 am. Poetry recitation will be held at 5.30 pm on March 13th.
Many senior litterateurs including Mr. Rajesh Joshi, Mr. Vijay Gupta, Mr. Apoorvanand, Mr. Nathmal Sharma, Mr. Lokbabu, Mr. Siyaram Sharma, Mr. Alok Verma, Ms. Vandana Raag will be participating in this program. In the program, poems of Shri Shrikant Verma will also be presented under the direction of Shri Rajkamal Nayak. The young litterateurs namely Mr. Hariom Rajouria, Mr. Kailash Banavasi, Mr. Manoj Kulkarni, Ms. Vandana Raga, Mr. Basant Tripathi, Mr. Nidhish Tyagi, Mr. Rajat Krishna, Ms. Shraddha Thwait, Ms. Poonam Vasam will also be participating in the programme. The famous poet of Bhopal, Mr. Rajesh Joshi is coming to Raipur after a long time to recite poetry in this event.
