Target to sell 5 lakh national flags in the post offices of Chhattisgarh Postal Circle
Remembering the contribution of those who worked tirelessly for nation-building, the state government is celebrating the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, in accordance with which the campaign of Har Ghar Tiranga will be implemented. Director of Postal Services Chhattisgarh, Mr. Dinesh Kumar Mistry, has issued a circular to all secretaries saying that during the period from August 13 to 15, all the offices and houses are encouraged to hoist the Tricolor, under the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan being executed by the Central Government. On this occasion, the national flag, with dimensions of 20 inches by 30 inches and costing Rs. 25 per flag, is being sold in all the post offices located in Chhattisgarh. Chhattisgarh Postal Circle has set a target of selling 5 lakh national flags through various post offices. Mr. Mistry has urged the officers and employees of all offices, as well as common citizens, to buy flags from post offices and hoist the flag at their homes, to ensure the success of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.
One can inform the Post Office immediately in case they need a large number of flags, so that they can be supplied as per demand.
