Ayodhya (Thestates.news)|General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust Champat Rai on Friday expressed hope that the construction of the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya will be completed by next year.
In a programme organised at the Press Club on the occasion of Hindi Journalism Day, Rai said that between June 3 and 5, all eight idols including Ram Darbar will be consecrated in the Ram temple. “Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also be present on this occasion. Despite the completion of the Pran Pratishtha programme, Ram Darbar will not be opened for visitors as it may hinder the construction work, but the proper worship of all the idols will begin,” he said.
He said that after Devutthaan Ekadashi, another programme of Pran Pratishtha of Lord Vishnu’s Sheshavatar can be held. “The construction of the temple is likely to be completed by the end of next year, which will be in its grand form with a huge complex,” he said.
On this occasion, while congratulating the journalists on Hindi Journalism Day, the General Secretary said that today is the martyrdom day of Sikh Guru Arjun Dev who suffered all the atrocities of the Mughal invaders. He said that with time, many forms of media have emerged but print media is incomparable. (S-UNI)
