Rohit achieved this feat during the second T20 match against Australia in Nagpur on Friday. Rohit Sharma played brilliant innings of 46 not out in 20 balls in this match, during which he hit four fours and four sixes. Thanks to his innings, India won the match by 6 wickets. Now Rohit has a total of 176 sixes in T20 cricket. Second-ranked New Zealand opener Martin Guptill has 172 sixes to his name.
West Indies legend Chris Gayle is at number three in this list with 124 sixes. At number four, is former England captain Eoin Morgan, who has 120 sixes to his name, while Australian legend Aaron Finch is at fifth position with 119 sixes. Rohit has scored 3,677 runs in 130 innings of 138 matches in T20 International cricket at an average of 32.53 with four centuries and 28 half-centuries. Out of these 3,677 runs, 1,056 runs came with the help of sixes. That is, 28.71 per cent of Rohit’s runs have been scored with only sixes.
