Raipur (thestates.news) : Dr Mohan Bhagwat, the Sarsanghchalak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, turned 72 on Sunday. Mohan Bhagwat was born on September 11, 1950 in Chandrapur, Maharashtra, adjoining Chhattisgarh. Bhagwat took over the command of the Sangh on March 21, 2009. More than 200 prominent office bearers of 36 organisations involved in the three-day All India RSS Coordination meeting at Jainam Bhawan here greeted and wished him on his birthday on Sunday morning.(HS)
