Mumbai (Thestates.news)| The BSE Sensex on Thursday slipped 199 pts to 65,796.52 as selling pressure was seen in Auto, banking, and Capital Goods stocks. The Nifty fell 54.35 points to 19,578.20.The midcap rose by 0.16 percent and the small cap by 0.45 percent. In 30 scrips, 12 advanced while 18 declined.
The losers were Asian Paints by 2 percent to Rs 3263.80, Nestle India Ltd. by 0.81 p percentto Rs 22,027.20, Tata Motors by 0.79 p percentto Rs 617.90, and Bharti Airtel by 0.76 p percentto Rs 877.
The gainers were IndusInd Bank by 0.67 pc to Rs 1416.65, M&M by 0.51 pc to Rs 1542.75, Ultracemco by 0.50 pc to Rs 8147, and Powergrid by 0.50 pc to Rs 241.45. (UNI)
