Mumbai (Thestates.news)|The BSE Sensex on Wednesday dropped 287.68 pts to 65,558.82 as selling pressure was seen in Power, real estate, and Technology stocks. The Nifty fell 65.90 points to 19,504.95. The midcap slipped by 0.22 percent, while the small cap rose by 0.24 percent.
In 30 scrips, 7 advanced, 22 declined, and one remained unchanged.
The losers were HCL Technology by 1.05 pc to Rs 1128.95, ICICI Bank by 1.03 pc to be 970.40, Maruti Suzuki by 0.96 pc to Rs 9452.60, ITC by 0.94 pc to Rs 448.20, and TCS by 0.81 pc to be 3441.90.
The gainers were Bharti Airtel by 0.89 pc to Rs 892.70, M&M by 0.81 pc to Rs 1511.75, Tech Mahindra by 0.67 pc to Rs 1213.40, and JSW Steel by 0.34 pc to Rs 803.55.(UNI)
