Sensex recovers over 100 points

Mumbai (Thestates.news) The BSE Sensex on Wednesday recovered 144 points at 74097.05 in the opening trade as buying was seen in power, real estate, and technology stocks. The National Stock Exchange (NSE) rose 26.40 points to 22,555.45. The NSE registered days high and low at 22,577.40 and 22,483.15 points, respectively.
The Sensex registered intraday highs and lows at 74165.52 and 73,860.33 points, respectively.
The midcap slipped by 0.21 pc, while the small cap rose by 0.12 pc.
In 30 scrips, 14 advanced while 16 declined.
The gainers were Hind Unilever by 2.20 pc to Rs 2361, Reliance Industries by 1.68 pc to Rs 2919.65, Ultracemco by 1.15 pc to Rs 9911.05 and ITC by 1.05 pc to Rs 439.50.
The losers were Sun Pharma by 1.33 pc to Rs 1520.65, SBI by 1.19 pc to Rs 820.70 and JSW Steel by 1.06 pc to Rs 913.65.(UNI)
