Sports Minister Umesh Patel hands over trophies to winner and runner-up of State Level Tennis Ball Cricket Tournament

Raipur  (The States. news) Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Umesh Patel attended the closing ceremony of the State Level Tennis Ball Cricket Tournament held at Sarangarh in Raigarh district. He congratulated and gave best wishes to the winners, runners-up and best players of this competition during the prize distribution ceremony.

Teams from other states of the country also participated in this tennis ball cricket tourney organized at the Khelbhantha Stadium in Sarangarh. The final match was played between Sarangarh and Sambalpur (Orissa). Team Sambalpur emerged as winner of the tournament. Rs 1.11 lakh was given to the winning team along with the trophy and Rs 55, 500 was given to the runner-up team along with trophy.

Sports Minister Umesh Patel handed over trophies and prize money to the winner and runner-up teams. Sports Minister Mr. Patel congratulated organizers and players for a successful event. It is worth mentioning that Tennis Ball Cricket Tournament is being organized in Khelbhantha Stadium for the last 18 years.
