Raipur (thestates.news) | Talented students and teachers from Chhattisgarh, who recently returned after meeting President Smt. Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan, called on Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai at the Chief Minister’s Residence Office in Raipur on Tuesday. The students shared their experiences of interacting with the President and their memorable visit to Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Congratulating the students, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that representing Chhattisgarh at Rashtrapati Bhavan was a matter of pride for the entire state. He said the students had brought honour to Chhattisgarh through their talent, confidence and impressive presentation of the state’s rich cultural heritage.
During the interaction, the students said that meeting President Smt. Droupadi Murmu was an unforgettable experience. The President interacted with them warmly and enquired about their education, interests and future aspirations.
The students and teachers had the opportunity to meet the President at Rashtrapati Bhavan on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. The President tied a Rakhi to CWSN student Nukesh Kumar Verma. Girl students presented the state’s traditional Suwa dance. President Smt. Droupadi Murmu praised Chhattisgarh’s rich folk culture and appreciated the performance.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said it is particularly gratifying that the students represented not only the state’s talent but also its cultural heritage on such a prestigious national platform. He said folk culture is an invaluable part of Chhattisgarh’s identity, and its presentation by the younger generation gives these traditions wider recognition and renewed vitality.
Interacting with the students, Chief Minister Shri Sai said there is no shortage of talent and potential among the children of Chhattisgarh. With the right opportunities, encouragement and platforms, they can earn recognition for the state in every field.
He said such experiences strengthen students’ confidence and broaden their aspirations. The Chief Minister encouraged them to draw inspiration from their interaction with the President, to pursue their studies with dedication, and to set ambitious goals and work consistently towards achieving them.
Wishing the students a bright future, Chief Minister Shri Sai urged them to dream big and move forward with confidence, making their families, Chhattisgarh and the country proud through their achievements.
The students who met President Smt. Droupadi Murmu included Rajwati Poyam from Narayanpur, Himanshu Thakur from Sukma, Payal Rajani from Durg, Ragni Sahu from Mahasamund, Nukesh Kumar Verma from Raipur, and Durgesh Sahu and Digesh Sen from Mahasamund.
Dr Mukti Bais, State Nodal Officer, Samagra Shiksha, Raipur, and Shri Chandrashekhar Mithlesh, Lecturer (Physics), Government Ashi Bai Golchha Higher Secondary School, Mahasamund, were also present on the occasion.
