Patience, discipline and self-confidence are the basis of personality building
Raipur (the states. news), 13 January 2021 Celibration organized at the Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Ashram on the occasion of “National Youth Day”, the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekanand. The Chief Guest of the program was Mr. Suyash Shukla, an eminent social luminary, presided over by Swami Satyarupa and Convened by Vivek Ji, the Director Ramkrishna School. Guest of honour on the occassion Swami Swaroopanandji encouraged children on the occasion for the use of mother language in all of their communications.
The Chief Guest of the program Suyash Shukla ji gave an example on sobriety, saying that sobriety can be understood from the bucket used in the well. It is not the well that reaches to bucket but bucket is required to dip in the water. It means the bucket itself has to bend; the water does not come to fill itself in that bucket. Citing an incident with Swami Vivekananda ji, he said, “Once a British woman proposed marriage to Swami Vivekanand ji from the point of view that she could have a son like Swami ji, in reference to which Swami ji addressed her as mother and told why to wait for a son like me, I am already with you as your son. In this manner Swami Vivekanand ji expressed his humble honer to that woman.
At the time of the historical lecture in Chicago among the learned people on stage and about 7000 people present in that hall, first word of Swami ji created an atmosphere of cheer and the applaud continued for more than 2 minutes. That great speech still inspires us for universal fraternity. Every year we pay respect with celibrations in context of that speach of Swami ji, the only speach being remembered with this pace. One more motivational thought have been added through an exaple of bucket has to bow its head to collect water even when it is touching water inside the well.
Youth present on the occasion presented songs and demonstrated exemplary zeal for the nation and the society. Prasad was distributed after the program. (media saheb.com)
